Every Door Direct Mail – Retail – Facing Slip
Postcards must be bundled with 2 (Size #64) rubber bands.
Each mail carrier route will have a specific number of bundles. Each bundle will need an official Facing Slip indicating the number of postcards per bundle and how many bundle are included for each route.
See detailed bundling instructions in Part 2, below.
Part 2: Postcards Are Delivered to You by UPS. Organize Postcard Bundles by Zip Code, then Carrier Route.
- You will receive your postcards bundled in groups of 100.
- The top sheets you receive in the Email we sent you are labeled by carrier route number.
- Open one of the PDFs for a carrier route. You will need to have bundles that match each top sheet.
For example, if you have a postal carrier route of 428 pieces, you’ll need:
- 4 complete bundles of 100 postcards each
- 28 additional cards from the open bundle
- Secure each bundle with two rubber bands, securing the facing sheet and mailers together.
Remember to take your bundled mail pieces and paperwork to the designated local post office for EDDM drop-off. Pay the required postage as indicated on the paperwork.
